i keep getting kicked anytime i open my inventory

this happens once in a while and i usually just deal with it. but it is happening more frequently now and i'm getting tired of it. i'm probably one of few players that is even on, and i made so much progress that i don't want all that effort go to waste, at least not until i'm finished.

i do have a few theories.

it seems that the server is severely outdated compared to other servers [1.8]. i believe this might be a cause for the bug.

i hope the developers can take out of their way into taking care of this bug. it also would be nice to have more options in building and can make things more fresh and less restricting.
but i guess a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush and i would be happy with either.

Open a container and throw everything out of your invetory onto the ground. Something is in your inventory that shouldn't be

Creative is on 1.12.2 and this has been a know issue for a while. You can use the command /ci to clear your inventory and this will help while we look into what's causing it.
